SUCCESS TIP #8
Family! What in the world is going on?
My name is Walter Virgil and this is ESS Success.
This is an opportunity for me to be able just to share some tips that I really believe are going to help you, as it pertains to your journey of locking into an awesome job opportunity.
This week, I have a really unique tip for you, okay? Let me just read. It says: professional-sounding e-mail addresses and voice messages.
I want to deal with the professional-sounding e-mails, okay? I need you to really give some thought to that because I’ve heard some really… not-so-appealing e-mails when it comes to that portion of the application where I ask for an e-mail so we can get back in contact with you.
Let me just give you some examples:
hotgirlfire@gmail.com
dopeboi100@gmail.com
killerdre666@hotmail.com
darkdebby@yahoo.com
Do you kind of get the idea? It doesn’t seem welcoming, nor really appropriate, for this kind of setting. So really trying to find something that’s really kind of straightforward, really having to deal with your name, because the most important thing you’re trying to do is to make the right impression, right? And you really want your name to stand out. You want to give your name a character that’s reflective of who you are and the value that you can bring to a company.
So yeah, I’m going to do the voicemails in another one, so you need to catch the next video I have coming because I really want to deal with what a good voicemail ought to sound like and what it shouldn’t.
So if you guys enjoy the content that we’re sharing on this platform, please do me a favor: share.
This is ESS Success. My name is Walter Virgil. I look forward to catching up with you guys soon, alright?
